Logo rescue & brand identity

Your logo probably breaks
somewhere you haven’t looked

Most logos are fine until they meet a dark background, a 16‑pixel browser tab, or a one‑colour print job. I test the one you already have, show you exactly where it fails, and rebuild it so it stops failing.

The same logo before and after rebuilding, shown on a coloured background
Before — as deliveredA one-colour file straight from a vectorising service. The background is baked into the artwork, so it drops a solid block onto anything that isn’t white. After — rebuiltIdentical artwork, rebuilt so the background is genuinely absent. Same file now works on any colour, and recolours by changing one value.

The free audit

Five things I check first

Send me your logo and I will tell you which of these it fails, with the evidence. No charge, and no obligation to buy the fix.

  • 01It vanishes at thumbnail size
  • 02You only have a JPG or PNG of it
  • 03It uses more than two fonts
  • 04It breaks on a dark background
  • 05It looks like your competitor’s

Two ways to work together

Rescue it, or rebuild it

Most people need the first one. If your logo is fundamentally sound and just badly built, fixing it is faster and cheaper than starting again.

Start here

Logo Rescue

You have a logo you like. It came from a generator, a template, or a designer who handed over a JPG and disappeared. I rebuild it properly without changing what you recognise.

  • True vector, redrawn and cleaned
  • One-colour version that actually reverses
  • Transparent on any background
  • Favicon and avatar set that survives 16px
  • SVG, PDF, EPS, PNG — print and web
  • A proof sheet showing it tested

Typically one week.

The full build

Brand Identity

You don’t have a logo yet, or the one you have is past saving. A mark built from the ground up, plus the system that keeps it consistent once other people start using it.

  • Original mark, built as vector from the start
  • Every lockup: stacked, horizontal, mark only
  • Colour palette sampled from the artwork
  • Typography, spacing and usage rules
  • A brand board you can send to anyone
  • The same proof sheet, on every file

Typically three to four weeks.

What makes this different

You get the evidence,
not just the files

Plenty of people will vectorise a logo. Almost nobody tests the result and shows you. Every job here ships with a sheet like this — the actual mark, rendered at the sizes and backgrounds it has to survive, so you can see it works instead of taking my word for it.

Attach whatever you have — even if it is a screenshot, a logo sketched out on paper, or something AI generated. I will tell you what I believe is wrong with it and what it would take to fix. If it is already working, I will tell you that too.
